This course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW sections A-III/2 and A-III/6 as well as of the Article 57 of the Rules on Ranks and Certification of Seafarers (National Gazzette 124/15).

This course also meets the requirements of COSWP - Code of Safe Working Practices.

The attendees that successfully complete the course will gain the required knowledge about maritime high voltage equipment with particular emphasis on safe operation, procedures that should precede, during and after each operation with high voltage. Also, at the end of the course, the attendees should be familiar with safety requirements required for high voltage plants, including risks related to high voltage.

The certificate High Voltage at managerial level can be obtained by senior engine officers as well as Electro-technical officers that operate on a vessel equipped with electrical installations over 1000 V power.

The certificate High Voltage at Managerial level has validity without time limit.
